Criminal record/ detailed criminal record/ contravention record for individuals and legal entities from the territory of the Republic of Moldova

This service allows you to obtain official information about your criminal record or administrative offenses, as well as confirmation of their absence. The document can be issued electronically or on paper and is valid throughout the Republic of Moldova and abroad.

Using the online platform, you can submit an application, track its status, and, if necessary, request an apostille for the document.

Criminal record certificate (available in Romanian, English, Russian, or any official language of a European Union member state)

Detailed criminal record certificate (available in Romanian and Russian)

    Step 1: Submit the application

    If you are an owner of a IDNP identification number, the application can be submitted online by clicking the «Solicită» button.

    If you do not have an IDNP identification number, you can apply directly at the offices of the institution at Chisinau mun., 3A Iacob Hîncu str. Khynku.

    Or — find the nearest diplomatic or consular representation to submit an application.

    Step 2. Pay the fee

    The service is paid exclusively via MPay. * After submitting the application with the necessary consents and paying the fee, it is not refundable.

    You can find out the current status of your request, by using the respective service via entering the order number

    Step 4. Obtain the certificate

    The certificate can be obtained:

    • online, by downloading the document from MCabinet (if you have an electronic signature);
    • Home delivery, anywhere in the world, through the MDelivery service;
    • at the institution's counters: Chisinau municipality, 3A Iacob Hîncu street;
    • at the territorial police Inspectorates.

    Step 5. Check the authenticity of the certificate

    Check the authenticity of the public service result by downloading the digital version of the document and using the msign.gov.md service
