Old-age pension granted/re-examined under the provisions of international agreements
Granting of a financial entitlement to persons who have reached retirement age and have completed the contribution period provided for by the legislation and have been legally employed on the territory of one of the contracting states party to the Agreement in the field of social security to which the Republic of Moldova is a party.
Retirement age:
The retirement age for men is 63 years.
The retirement age for women is from:
- 01.07.2021 - 59 years 6 months
- 01.07.2022 - 60 years
- 01.07.2023 - 60 years 6 months
- 01.07.2024 - 61 years
- 01.07.2025 - 61 years 6 months
- 01.07.2026 - 62 years
- 01.07.2027 - 62 years 6 months
- 01.07.2028 - 63 years
Insurance period:
The minimum insurance period is 15 years.
The full contribution period for men is 34 years.
The full contribution period for women is 34 years.
The old-age pension is re-examined for the period of insurance completed after the pension was established, according to the legislation.
