Entitlement to a financial entitlement for persons who have reached retirement age and do not satisfy the conditions for the granting of an old-age pension.

- 1Step 1. Submitting of application and required documents
From 01.07.2025 the state social allowance for the elderly people is established, ex officio, by the territorial office of social insurance based on the application and documents submitted for the establishment of the social insurance pension.
If no application for the establishment of the social insurance pension has been submitted:
Submitting of application and required documents a) at the TOSI at the applicant's personal address b) by proxy; c) by proxy based on electronic signature, recorded in the Register of Powers of Attorney based on electronic signature; d) electronically by the portal www.servicii.gov.md or www.cnas.gov.md.
- 2Step 2. Processing the documents and issuing the decision of establishment/refusal
- 3Step 3. Launch of the technological process on payment and transfer of financial sources on the basis of the lists issued from the IS "Social Protection" to payment service providers
- 4Step 4. Distribution of the benefit to the beneficiary by the selected payment method
