State registration of independent entrepreneurs (freelancer)

State registration of independent entrepreneurs is a public service that allows an individual to officially register their independent economic activity in the field of services provision, which they carry out individually.

The state registration of independent entrepreneurs is carried out exclusively online and consists of assigning the state identification number (IDNO) with the entry in the State Register of Legal Entities (SRLE) of data on the initial registration, operation of changes and termination/suspension of the activity of independent entrepreneurs, in order to ensure their official record. On the date of registration in SRLE, the independent entrepreneur is registered with the - State Tax Service, National Bureau of Statistics, National Health Insurance Company, National Social Insurance House, etc.

Independent activities for which the payment of the single tax is provided, according to the List of areas of activity open for independent economic activity, according to the Classifier of Activities in the Economy of Moldova (CAEM-2), approved in the Annex to Art. 69(26) of the Fiscal Code of the Republic of Moldova.

The name of the independent entrepreneur will be automatically generated based on the surname and first name of the authenticated applicant in the following way:

• Full name: Independent Entrepreneur "Last Name, First Name",
• Short name: I.E. "Last Name, First Name".

The extract about the registration will be ordered, if necessary, exclusively online and will be issued in the form of an electronic document, automatically (instantly), and will be able to be downloaded from the Government Portal of Law Entities (mcabinet.gov.md).
