Birth, marriage, and death certificates from the holdings of the National Agency of Archives, compiled based on parish registers for the period from 1820 to 1922.

The archive certificate is a legally binding document containing information about the existence in archival documents of data related to situations and rights as indicated by applicants' requests.

Requests can only be submitted at the counter by prior online appointment at https://programari.gov.md/ro/ana.

    Step 1. Submission of request

    The request for issuing the certificate can be submitted in the following ways: 

    • Online by accessing the "Request" button (to benefit from electronic civil status services, electronic or mobile signature is mandatory).
    • In paper format, at the single counter of the Agency, located at: MD-2028, Chisinau, Gheorghe Asachi Street, no. 67/B (only based on prior online appointment - https://programari.gov.md/ro/ana).

    The service can be paid for using the government electronic payment service MPay.

    At this stage, the executor reviews the request and prepares the certificate/response.

    The archive certificate can be received in the following ways: 

    • At the counter of the National Archives Agency (ANA);
    • Delivered directly to your home via Mdelivery government delivery service: https://mdelivery.gov.md/.
