Phytosanitary certification for export or re-export

The phytosanitary certificate is an official document, which certifies that the plants, plant products and related goods subject to the phytosanitary quarantine regime intended for export, re-export meet the phytosanitary requirements of the country of destination. The phytosanitary control body issues phytosanitary certificates if the importing states impose such a requirement.

    Step 1. Submission of the request

    The application is submitted online, by accessing the Request button; or on paper, at least 48 hours before dispatch, to the territorial subdivision of the phytosanitary control body, in whose area of ​​activity the products of vegetable origin are stored.

    Step 2. Paying for the service

    The exporter pays the established fee.

    Step 3. Examination of the application

    The agency examines the application and the submitted documents

    Step 4. Inspection and sampling

    The phytosanitary inspector from the issuing authority, on site inspects and takes samples for the laboratory expertise, of the loads intended for export with the issuance of the batch control document.

    Step 5. Issuing and releasing the certificate

    The phytosanitary certificate can be received online by generating it in SIA GEAP, or on paper it can be picked up at the ANSA counter.
