Registration of the phytosanitary operator
Pursuant to art. 4 and art. 24 of Law no. 228/2010 regarding plant protection and phytosanitary quarantine operators in the phytosanitary field are registered with the following types of activity:
a) Shipping center
b) Collective deposit
c) Exporter
d) Importer
e) Manufacturer
f) Packaging manufacturer
g) Producer of seeds and planting material
h) Manufacturer (packaging. treatment services)
i) Protected land
j) User of phytosanitary products and fertilizers

- 1Step 1. Submission of the application
The operators submit the set of documents on paper or in electronic format by email to the territorial subdivision of the Agency within its scope of activity.
- 2Step 2. Paying for the service
Payment for the service can be made through the government electronic payment service MPay or at the bank counter. Payment is made only at the first registration.
- 3Step 3. Examination of the application and documents
The issuing authority examines the application and the necessary documents provided by the legislation.
- 4Step 4. Performing checks
It monitors plantations, performs phytosanitary controls of plants and plant products, takes samples for laboratory expertise.
- 5Step 5. Operator registration
The phytosanitary control body registers the operators in the Automated Information System, the Phytosanitary Village Register.
