Monthly childcare indemnity up to the age of 3 (for insured persons, granted under the provisions of the agreements)
Monthly child-raising benefit for insured persons according to the options set out in the regulatory framework
Persons who have been legally employed on the territory of one of the contracting states party to the Agreement in the field of social security, to which the Republic of Moldova is a party in accordance with the legal provisions of the Republic of Moldova, receive the indemnity.
The insured person (mother, father, grandmother, grandfather or other relative who is directly responsible for the care of the child) is considered to be a person who is on childcare leave in all the establishments in which he/she works and confirms the required total period of insurance of at least 3 years or at least 9 months completed in the last 24 months preceding the date of birth of the child.
Self-employed persons working in the justice sector are entitled to monthly child-raising indemnity if they confirm that they have completed at least 3 years of insurance or at least 9 months of insurance in the 24 months preceding the date of the child's birth, without the condition of being on childcare leave until the age of 3 years.
