Monthly indemnity for raising the child, according to the options (insured persons)

The granting of a monthly social benefit to insured persons for child rearing, according to the options established by the normative framework.

Insured persons have the right to the monthly indemnity for raising the child that confirms the required period of total contributions of at least 3 years or at least 9 months in the last 24 months preceding the date of the child's birth, according to the options provided by the legislation, provided that the dates for establishing of the indemnity are available in the state information resources and registered in the Information System of the National Office of Social Insurance, within 12 months from the date of the child's birth. If the data were registered later than the indicated term, but not later than 3 years from the date of the child's birth, the indemnity is established retroactively, but not more than for 12 months preceding the date of registration. Freelancers practicing activity in the justice sector have the right to a monthly indemnity for raising a child, from the day after the expiry of maternity leave, according to the options, if they confirm the total contribution period of at least 3 years or at least 9 months completed in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth date, without the condition of being on child care leave until the child reaches the age of 3.

The monthly allowance for raising a child, according to the options (insured persons) is established ex officio on the basis of the data available in the State Register of Population, consumed through the interoperability platform, without submitting the application to the territorial social insurance office or electronic application.
