Pre-registration for Voting Abroad
Pre-registration allows you to announce your intention to vote abroad in the upcoming elections. It is an optional but useful step to ensure that there will be a polling station near you.
This service is for you if:
- You are a citizen of the Republic of Moldova with the right to vote
- You are abroad and want to vote in the upcoming elections
- You want to help open a polling station in your area
By pre-registering, you help us to:
- Estimate how many citizens will vote in each area abroad
- Decide where to open polling stations
- Better organize the electoral process for our compatriots in the diaspora
Attention: If you pre-register for voting abroad, you will be excluded from the main electoral list in the country.
When can you register?
Registration becomes available once the election date is announced and closes 45 days before election day.
For the parliamentary elections on September 28, 2025, registration will close on August 14, 2025, at 23:59:59 (Moldovan time).

- 1Submit the request
To pre-register:
- You will identify yourself by entering your personal identification number (IDNP) and date of birth.
- You will click the “New Registration” button.
- You will select the locality and country where you will be on election day, as well as your preferences regarding the polling station.
- You will enter your email address and submit the request.
The process takes approximately 5 minutes.

You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided.
To continue, you must click the confirmation link in the received message, which will redirect you to the CEC platform.
There, you will be required to sign a declaration to validate your request.
