State social benefit for care, accompaniment and supervision

Provision of a sum of money to persons providing care, accompaniment and supervision at home for a child with severe disabilities under the age of 18, persons with severe disabilities since childhood, blind persons with severe disabilities. A person who provides care, companionship and home supervision to a child with a severe disability under the age of 18 and is not a beneficiary of a personal assistance service. A person with a severe disability from childhood, a pension or benefit recipient who is not on full public assistance or is not a beneficiary of a personal assistance service.A blind person with severe disabilities who is not in full state care or is not a beneficiary of a personal assistance service.

    Step 1: Submitting an application and necessary documents

    From 01.07.2025 the state social allowance for care, accompaniment and supervision is established, ex officio, by the territorial office of social insurance as a result of the establishment of the social insurance pension or state social allowance.

    In case of submitting the application in person:

    Submitting of application and required documents a) at the TOSI at the applicant's personal address b) by proxy; c) by proxy based on electronic signature, recorded in the Register of Powers of Attorney based on electronic signature; d) electronically by the portal www.servicii.gov.md or www.cnas.gov.md.

    Step 2. Processing the documents and issuing the decision

    Step 3. Forming the payments and sending the information to the government electronic payment service MPay for the distribution of the benefit amount
