Conferring/changing the address of a property

Conferring/changing the address for a newly constructed or newly formed building or isolated room in the procedure for the formation of immovable property. The assigned address is registered in the State Register of administrative-territorial units and addresses and serves as a reference for other official information systems that use data on the address of the immovable property.

Requirements for applicants:

  • The owner of the property right over the real estate.
  • The executor of the cadastral survey, as part of the work carried out based on the request of the owner of the property.

    Step 1. Submission of request

    The request is submitted by the owner of the real estate or his representative to the multifunctional Centers within the area of the territorial cadastral service where the respective real estate is located. The addressable objects category consists of buildings, including unfinished and future ones, main entrances to buildings, isolated rooms, including future ones, parks, public squares, rest or recreation areas, sports fields, authorized car parks, other objects authorized where human activities can be carried out.

    Step 2. Request review and address assignment

    Examination of cadastral materials and information from the digital cadastral plan. Conferring the postal address and registering it in the State Register of administrative-territorial units and addresses according to the legislation with the drawing up of the Decision and the Certificate regarding the conferring of the address of the immovable property. Updating the information from the digital cadastral plan.

    Step 3. Issuance of documents

    Documents are issued at the counter of the Multifunctional Center.
