The Refund of the overpaid or erroneously paid mandatory health insurance premiums to the mandatory health insurance funds

The managed Payments by CNAM (except for the codes ECO 122100, 143322, and 143325 managed by SFS), paid incorrectly or in excess, will be transferred from one type of the payment to another or refunded to the payers' accounts based on taxpayers' requests submitted to CNAM.

    Step 1. Submission of the request

    The managed Payments by CNAM (except for the codes ECO 122100, 143322, and 143325 managed by SFS), paid incorrectly or in excess, will be transferred from one type of payment to another or refunded to the payers' accounts based on the supporting documents, completed and signed requests with holographic or electronic signatures. The set of the documents is submitted to the CNAM’s Territorial Service for Beneficiary Relations /CNAM Central Office or to the email address secretariat@cnam.gov.md.

    Step 2. The Verification of the request

    CNAM reviews the files and carries out the correction/refund of the overpaid or erroneously paid mandatory health insurance premiums into the account, in the fixed amount, and/or administrative penalties according to the current regulatory acts.

    Step 3. Refund the amounts

    The applicant is informed in writing about the resolution of the request.
