    Step 1 Submission of the application

    The natural person submits an application for a model specified in the regulation on granting social guarantees to the National Blood Transfusion Center; a copy of the identity card of the person and a 3x4 cm photo shall be attached to the application submitted;

    Step 2 Checking the frequency and periodicity of blood donations

    The responsible working group of the Blood Transfusion Center checks the frequency and periodicity of voluntary blood donations of the individual in the database of the SIA Blood Service;

    Step 3 Informing the applicant about the decision taken

    The responsible Working Group shall inform the person of the inclusion or non-inclusion in the category of voluntary blood donors;

    Step 4 Issuance/completion of the ID card

    In case of placing the blood donor/blood components in one of the 4 categories of beneficiaries of the social guarantees, the National Blood Transfusion Center is responsible for issuing/ completing the card during no more than 10 calendar days from the moment of submission of the application by the permanent voluntary donor of blood and / or blood components
