    Step 1. Submitting the application.

    The applicant (or their legal representative) personally or with the assistance of the receptionist at the counter submits the application by accessing the "Submit" button (https://actpermisiv.gov.md/#/ep/permit/122).

    Step 2. Processing the application.

    In the event that the Applicant (or their legal representative): a) submits the application and necessary documents with the assistance of the receptionist at the counter, the receptionist: will receive and appropriately register the application for the issuance of the permit and will receive the documents provided by the applicant, and will immediately and unconditionally issue the certificate to the applicant in accordance with the model indicated in Annex No. 2 to Law No. 160 of July 22, 2011, and will forward the case (electronic copies of the application and documents provided) to the issuing authority for review. The application may only be returned to the applicant if it does not contain the necessary information for the applicant's identification. b) submits the application and uploads the documents directly into the system, the system: will automatically generate the electronic confirmation document of receiving the application and documents ("certificate of receipt") and will automatically direct the application and set of documents to the issuing authority.

    Step 3. Examination of the application.

    The specialist examines and, if necessary, forwards product samples and materials to the laboratory for estimating the costs of laboratory investigations.

    Step 4. Notification and payment of the service.

    The applicant (or their legal representative) receives an electronic notification and pays the fee for laboratory investigations through the MPay service or at the bank.

    Step 5. Conducting laboratory examinations.

    The laboratory conducts examinations and sends the investigation results to the specialist.

    Step 6. Finalization of the permit document or refusal.

    The specialist finalizes the issuance of the permit document or writes a rejection letter with appropriate justification according to the law, with direct notification to the applicant, and only if the applicant does not meet the conditions expressly specified in the law or, as applicable, does not demonstrate meeting these conditions during the suspended examination period of the request, which will be reviewed and signed by the director (deputy director) of the issuing authority.

    Step 7. Issuance of the permit document.

    When the permit document (letter) is signed, the applicant (or their legal representative) receives an electronic notification, downloads the permit document from SIA GEAP, and confirms receipt of the document. In case the permit document is issued on paper (upon request or according to the requirements of the issuing authority), the receptionist prints the permit document, delivers it to the applicant (or their legal representative), and confirms receipt.
