Procedure by which the national health assessment and accreditation body officially recognizes that a medical service provider and its staff are competent to perform the activities specific to its profile in accordance with the standards and provisions of the laws in the field of medicine and pharmacy

    Step 1. Submission to the Council of the request for accreditation of the medical service provider

    Brief description of the permit issuing process:

    1. Submission to the Council of the request for accreditation of the medical service provider (standard form approved by the Council) with the attachment:

    a. organigram of the medical service provider;

    b. sanitary operating authorization;

    c. organization and operation regulation, approved by the Ministry of Health.

    Аcceptance of the application

    Upon acceptance of the application, the Council sends to the applicant the draft contract for the provision of assessment services, in three copies, the information regarding the registration of the application, the payment order, the self-evaluation questionnaire (standard form approved by the Council), the assessment and accreditation standards with the annexes according to the presented organigram.

    Step 3. Self-assessment

    The self-assessment procedure based on the questionnaire of the Council will last no more than 30 calendar days from the date of submission of the accreditation application.

    Step 4. Assessment and accreditation

    Sending to the Council the self-assessment questionnaire and the completed assessment and accreditation standards, including the set of documents required for the preliminary examination, requested by the Council.

    Forming and approval of the team of health assessment experts and the assessment of the medical service provider.

    Evaluation of the medical service provider.

    a. the ex officio prior examination by the assessment experts of the information and documentation presented in electronic format by the assessed provider;

    b. the on-site assessment of the medical service provider, in order to determine the conformity of the activities carried with respect to health assessment and accreditation standards.

    c. drawing up the evaluation report.

    Step 5. Adopting the decision regarding the assessment results and informing the assessed provider.

    Step 6. Issuance of the accreditation certificate

    The accreditation certificate is issued at the Council counter, by post or email.
