Attestation/Re-attestation as an Evaluator of Intellectual Property Objects

Acquisition of the qualification of evaluator of intellectual property objects/extension of the validity of the evaluator’s qualification certificate.

The request for attestation/re-attestation as an evaluator of intellectual property objects shall be carried out by filing an application in the name of the Director General of AGEPI, which shall be completed on a standard form approved by AGEPI.

Persons shall be admitted for attestation who:

a) are citizens of the Republic of Moldova;

b) live in the Republic of Moldova;

c) have higher education in evaluation, higher economic education or higher technical education and work experience in the field of intellectual property, including as an evaluator or intern for at least 1 year;

d) do not have an outstanding criminal record.

    Step 1: Filing of the application

    Application filing methods:


    - with the Agency counter at the address: 24/1, Andrei Doga Str., MD-2024, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova;

    - online, by accessing the link (https://e-servicii.agepi.gov.md/);

    - by e-mail, cerere@agepi.gov.md, (the application shall be deemed filed on the date of receipt of the e-mail, if AGEPI receives the original application within one month from the date of receipt of the e-mail, except for the electronic document signed with digital signature).

    Step 2. Payment of the service

    - directly at the counter; 

    - by bank transfer;

    - through the government electronic payment service MPay (https://mpay.gov.md).

    Step 3. Verification of documents filed with the Commission for Attestation and Discipline of Evaluators (hereinafter referred to as the Commission)

    1) Receipt and examination of the application filed and the documents attached, issuance of the Commission’s decision with reference to admission to the qualification exam, within 30 days from the date of filing of the application and the set of documents.

    2) Conduct of the qualification exam; Adoption of the Commission’s decision on the result of the attestation/reattestation, recorded in the Minutes of notification of candidates;

    3) Issuance of the qualification certificate/renewed qualification certificate for a period of 5 years within 15 days from the day of adoption of the decision of the Attestation Commission.

    Step 4. Inclusion of the evaluator of intellectual property objects in the National Register of Intellectual Property Evaluators (hereinafter - the Register)

    Step 5. Publication in the Official Bulletin of Intellectual Property (BOPI) of the initial information about the entry of the evaluator in the Register
