  Step 1. Filing of the application for registration of a subject-matter of copyright or related rights

  The application shall be filed:

  -  with the Agency counter at the address: 24/1, Andrei Doga Str., MD-2024, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova;

  -  online, by accessing the link (https://e-servicii.agepi.gov.md/);

  -  by e-mail, cerere@agepi.gov.md, (the application shall be deemed filed on the date of receipt of the e-mail, if AGEPI receives the original application within one month from the date of receipt of the e-mail, except for the electronic document signed with digital signature).

  Step 2. Payment of the service

  - directly at the counter; 

  - by bank transfer;

  - through the government electronic payment service MPay (https://mpay.gov.md).

  Step 3. Examination of the application and the attached documents

  The application is considered submitted from the moment of presentation of the entire necessary package of documents. If they are not presented, the application will not be accepted. In the other cases of filing of the application for registration, the materials attached to the application shall be presented directly to AGEPI within 3 working days.

  The applicant shall be notified of the removal of detected irregularities, where appropriate.

  Step 4. Registration of the subject-matter of copyright or related rights in the State Register of Subject-Matterss Protected by Copyright and Related Rights or issuance of a decision of refusal

  The filed application and attached documents shall beexamined according to the procedure.

  Following the examination of the application and the documents attached to the application, the sunject-matter shall be entered in the State Register of Subject-Matterss Protected by Copyright and Related Rights or a decision of refusal shall be issued.

  Step 5. Issuance of the certificate of registration of subject-matters of copyright and related rights or the decision of refusal

  Following the examination of the application and the documents attached to the application and the registration of the subject-mateter in the State Register of Subject-Matterss Protected by Copyright and Related Rights, a certificate of registration of the subject-matters of copyright and related rights shall be issued. If the applicant fails to remove the detected irregularities, a decision of refusal shall be issued.

  The registration certificate can be obtained at the Agency’s office.
