  Submitting the application

  Before the application is submitted, the stage prior to the submission of the application (pre-application phase) is completed, which starts with a preliminary application of the applicant by letter, telephone or during a personal visit to the CAA.

  The application can be submitted by the applicant in the following ways:

  1) online - by pressing the "Apply" button in the Automated Information System for the Management and Issuance of Permissive Documents (SIA GEAP);

  2) at the single counter of the CAA, located in Chisinau mun., 80/2 Dacia Avenue.

  Processing and examination

  Once the application has been submitted, the following steps shall be carried out in succession:

  a) documentation evaluation stage;

  b) demonstration and inspection stage;

  c) certification stage.

  Issuance/refusal of release

  The certificate is issued through the Automated Information System for the Management and Issuance of Permissive Documents (SIA GEAP) or at the single counter (Chisinau mun., 80/2 Dacia Avenue, Airworthiness Department). It includes the fields covered by the authorization as well as the conditions associated with the authorization. The reference number shall be included in the authorization certificate accordingly.

  The refusal to grant the certificate shall be communicated in writing to the applicant at the electronic address, in compliance with the legal requirements concerning the electronic document.
