The Civil Aviation Authority is an administrative authority responsible for certification, supervision and control in the field of civil aviation, having the status of a legal entity under public law with the legal organization form of an agency, financed from the state budget, headquartered in the municipality of Chisinau, subordinated to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
