Authorization for the transportation of dangerous goods
Dangerous goods (DG) : articles or substances which may present a risk to health, safety, property or the environment and which are included in the list of dangerous goods in the technical instructions or classified according to these instructions.
The service entails: an approval granted by the Civil Aviation Authority for the transportation of dangerous goods by air.
Relevant : Technical instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (Doc. 9284), approved and issued periodically in accordance with the procedure established by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
In the absence of a specific reference in the Technical instructions allowing approval, a derogation may be requested.

- 1Submission of the application
The application shall be submitted to the CAA one-stop shop, located in Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd or submitted via the electronic address: info@caa.gov.md, in compliance with the legal requirements regarding the electronic document.
- 2Processing and examination
The examination process is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the TR-ATDG Technical Requirements and the Acceptable Means of Compliance to the TR-ATDG (AMC to TR-ATDG).
- 3Release/refusal of release
Approval/refusal of approval for the transportation of dangerous goods shall be communicated to the applicant at the CAA one-stop shop (Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd). The communication may also be made by electronic mail, in compliance with the legal requirements relating to the electronic document.
