Approval of construction and reconstruction of aerodromes/airports/heliports and special objects
The documents for the construction or reconstruction of aerodromes/airports/heliports and special objects are examined and approved by the CAA in terms of flight safety, aviation safety and public safety, environmental protection, as well as infrastructure needs (roads and other land communication routes, telecommunications, etc.) to serve the airport and ensure its safe and efficient operation.
The opinion issued by the CAA confirms the applicant's right to carry out the proposed construction works in terms of their compliance with the regulatory framework applicable to the design and operation of aerodromes/airports/heliports.

- 1Submission of the application
The application and the necessary documents:
a) shall be submitted to the CAA one-stop shop;
b) shall be sent via the electronic address: info@caa.gov.md, in compliance with the legal requirements relating to the electronic document.
- 2Processing and examination
The application with attached documents shall be examined in accordance with the requirements of Chapters 5 - 8 of the CAPI-AGA-AVCONS Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions "Issuance of opinions on the construction/reconstruction of aerodromes/airports/heliports and special objects".
- 3Issuing the opinion
The opinion is issued in a single copy and is issued to the applicant at the CAA desk (Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd). It may also be issued by the CAA Airports Directorate. A copy thereof is kept at the CAA.
