Certificate of registration
Individual document issued by the Civil Aviation Authority for each civil aircraft, confirming its registration in the Air Register.
By registration in the Air Register, the aircraft acquires the nationality of the Republic of Moldova.
Any natural person, resident of the Republic of Moldova or legal person is considered eligible as an applicant for a certificate of registration.

- 1Submission of the application
The application can be submitted at the one-stop shop of the CAA, located in Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd. or to the e-mail address info@caa.gov.md, in compliance with the legal requirements relating to electronic documents.
- 2Processing and examination
According to the Civil Aeronautical Procedures and Instructions CAPI - AW - CAR Civil Aircraft Registration - the following stages are successively completed:
(a) preliminary stage;
(b) submission of the application and related documents stage;
(c) evaluation and documentation stage (including inspection, where appropriate).
- 3Release/deferral/refusal of release
The CAA shall issue the Certificate of Registration at the one-stop shop of the CAA (Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd, Airworthiness Directorate) according to the form in Annex no. 4 of the Civil Aeronautical Procedures and Instructions CAPI - AW - CAR Civil Aircraft Registration. This document may also be communicated to the applicant at the e-mail address known to the CAA.
The refusal to issue the Certificate of Registration shall be communicated in writing to the applicant at the electronic address, in compliance with the legal requirements concerning the electronic document.
