  Submission of the application

  The application may be submitted by the applicant, by filling in the template in Annex no. 23 to the Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions CAPI - MED Medical Certification of Aviation Staff, through the following means:

  1) at the one-stop shop of the CAA, located in Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd;

  2) to the e-mail address info@caa.gov.md, in compliance with the legal requirements relating to electronic documents.

  The application shall be accompanied by the certification file which shall include the documents referred to in point 8.1. sub-point (2) of the CAPI - MED Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions - MED Medical Certification of Aviation Staff.

  Processing and examination

  After examination of the application and the certification file, the CAA shall inform the applicant of the result of the evaluation of the submitted documentation and the date of the certification audit.

  The certification audit shall be conducted using the template in Annex no. 24 to the Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions CAPI - MED Medical Certification of Aviation Staff.

  Release/refusal of release

  The CAA shall communicate the result of the evaluation to the applicant and issue, if all applicable requirements are met, the Aviation Medical Centre Certificate.

  This certificate is issued at the one-stop shop of the CAA against signature (Chisinau municipality, 80/2 Dacia Blvd., Aeronautical Medicine Service) or is communicated in writing to the electronic address of the applicant. 

  Refusal to grant the certificate shall be communicated to the applicant in writing to the electronic address known to the CAA, in compliance with the legal requirements relating to the electronic document.
