Sanitary-veterinary operating authorization

Sanitary and veterinary authorization - is an official document, issued by the competent sanitary veterinary authority, which certifies compliance with sanitary veterinary requirements in institutions and enterprises, which are subject to sanitary veterinary supervision.  

Economic agents carrying out at least one of the activities mentioned in annex no. 6 can only activate if they have been subject to the veterinary sanitary authorization/registration procedure by the Agency.

In order to obtain the veterinary sanitary authorization, economic agents or the local public administration authority, in the cases indicated in art. 16 paragraph (5) and (6) of Law no. 231/2010 on internal trade, submit an application to the territorial subdivisions for food safety, according to the model in annex no. 2 .

The sanitary veterinary authorization is issued according to the rates and terms specified in Law no. 160/2011 regarding the regulation by authorization of entrepreneurial activity.

For any subsequent changes to the technological process - modernization, relocation, expansion or change of the activity profile - it is necessary to request the issuance of new sanitary and veterinary authorizations for operation.

The applicant submits the application in the following ways: 

-         Online, if you have an electronic signature, access the public services portal, https://servicii.gov.md/ro/organization/ANSA ;

-         Physically, at one of the territorial subdivisions a

to the National Food Safety Agency at the one-stop window, where with the help of the receptionist submits the application.

    Step 2. Processing and Review

    The issuing authority (specialist) examines the application and the accompanying documents, verifies compliance with the conditions. In case of finding the lack of the necessary documents/information expressly provided by the legislation, the issuing authority (specialist) will suspend the term for examination of the application and will immediately inform the applicant about this fact with the specification and description of the basis for the suspension, the term and remedial actions to initiate the examination of the application.

    Step 4. Release/deferral/refusal of release

    - When the permissive act is approved/rejected, the applicant (legal representative) receives an electronic notification, to the electronic mail indicated in https://mcabinet.gov.md ;

    - Physically , the applicant can receive the document at the single counter of the territorial subdivision of the Agency where the application was previously submitted.
