Maternity indemnity for insured women and dependent wives of insured spouses
Granting a social benefit to insured women, unemployed women and dependent wives of the insured husband, in case of temporary loss of work capacity in connection with maternity.
Maternity indemnity is granted to insured women who are on maternity leave starting with the 30th week of pregnancy for a period of 126/140 calendar days
In the case of pregnancies with 3 or more children, the maternity indemnity is granted in full at the 24th week of pregnancy, for a period of 182 calendar days
Insured women have the right to maternity indemnity regardless of the duration of the contribution period.
In the case of the wife supporting the insured husband, the husband must be an insured person and confirm the total contribution period of at least 3 years or at least 9 months completed in the last 24 months prior to the occurrence of the insured risk.
