Applying the apostille to official documents issued in the name and in the interest of individuals and legal entities.
Apostille is a form of legalization of documents required by individuals wishing to present them in the territory of a foreign country.
To apply for an apostille, only official documents drawn up in the territory of the Republic of Moldova that are intended to have legal effect in a state party to the Convention are presented.
The applicant can be the holder of the official document or the person who possesses it and requests its apostille.
Documents for apostille can be submitted both online with electronic signature and physically. For physical submission at the counter, the applicant needs to schedule an appointment online at: https://apostila.gov.md.
The service can also be provided based on authorization issued through MPower.

The application can be submitted through the following methods:
1) Online - by clicking the "Apply" button. The online service is accessible to individuals with electronic or mobile signatures.
2) By appointment at the agency office located at 31 august 1989 /82 Street, Chisinau, by filling out the paper application and presenting the original documents for apostille.

Step 2. Payment for apostille services is made through the following channels: Government Electronic Payment Service MPay, bank, post office (payment must be made on the day of submission, as the processing time starts from the payment date, not the submission date).

Apostilled documents are issued in the following ways:
- Online, where the electronic version can be downloaded from the citizen's personal cabinet MCabinet: https://mcabinet.gov.md;
