Legal Information Resources Agency is an administrative authority subordinate to the Ministry of Justice and its mission is to ensure the development of an integrated legal information system, the development, administration, and interoperability of information systems in the justice sector, the execution of the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, concluded in The Hague on October 5, 1961, to which the Republic of Moldova acceded by Law No. 42 of March 2, 2006. Legal Information Resources Agency carries out the following functions: Legal information, legislation recording, and systematization; Development of information technologies and communications in the field of justice; Maintenance of state registers and other information systems of the justice sector; Application of apostille and legalization of official documents of the Republic of Moldova; Provision of information services according to the approved nomenclature and tariffs set by the Government.
