Technical permit for the use of radiocommunication stations

The Technical Permit represents the document certifying the right to use, in compliance with certain technical parameters, one or more radio communication stations on the assigned radio frequencies or channels.


The validity term of technical permits:

a) for radio relay stations used within the mobile voice networks - 15 years;

b) for amateur radio stations - 3 years;

c) for other types of radiocommunication stations - 5 years.

    Step 1: Submission of the Application

    The applicant fills in the application form (according to Annex no. 3 to ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision no. 10/2018) duly signed, which he sends to ANRCETI, with the following documents attached: 1) copy of the identity card of the applying natural person or of the administrator of the applying legal person, or, where relevant, of the delegated person; 2) where appropriate, the Power of Attorney for the person legally empowered to represent the applicant in the relations with ANRCETI; 3) documents issued by the Public Institution “National Radio Frequency Management Service”: (i) Opinion on the assignment of the radio channels or frequencies, which includes the result of the selection, calculation and coordination of the radio channel or frequency required for use, in copy and the original; (ii) Technical design of the radio facilities; (iii) Certificate of conformity of the radio broadcasting facilities, in copy, (iv) Minutes of technical measurements (measurement bulletin), 4) Copy of the coordination opinion as to the location of the radioelectric facilities, issued by the sanitary-epidemiological service, in copy.

    Step 2: Examination (verification of conformity) of the submitted set of documents

    The issuing authority (ANRCETI) verifies the compliance with the conditions for submitting the application and the accompanying documents. If the application and the set of accompanying documents meet all the required requirements, the application is accepted. Absence of necessary documents or the non-compliance with the requirements related to the transmission, form and content of the application, can serve as a ground for rejection / refusal to issue the technical permit.

    Step 3: Issuance of the technical permit

    The technical permit is issued by ANRCETI, depending on the purpose of use of the radiocommunication station, within 10 days from the moment of submitting the application, provided that the requirements regarding the transmission, form and content of the application and the attached documents, established by Law no. 241/2007, Law no. 160/2011, Decision of the Board of Directors of ANRCETI no. 33 of 23.08.2024 and other acts related to the purpose of use of radiocommunication stations, are met.
