Agency of Geology and Mineral Resources

The Agency of Geology and Mineral Resources is the central administrative authority subordinated to the Ministry of Environment, specialized in research, evidence, regulation and control of the use of mineral resources, with the aim of implementing the state policy in the field of geological research, rational use and protection of subsoil, according to the provisions of the Subsoil Code no. 3/2009. The Agency carries out its activity in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Subsoil Code, the laws and decisions of the Parliament, decrees of the President of the Republic of Moldova, ordinances, decisions and provisions of the Government, international treaties to which the Republic of Moldova is a party, orders and provisions of the Minister of Environment, as well as the Government Decision No. 485 /2009 on the approval of the Regulation of the Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources.
